About Ms. Mistretta
Ms. Christina Mistretta is an alumna of Saint Joseph Hill Academy (Class of 2015). She received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Mount Saint Mary College in May 2019 with minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Religious Studies. During her time at Mount Saint Mary College, Ms. Mistretta worked as a Resident Assistant, Teacher Assistant for a collegiate-level biology course, President of the college’s Catholic Relief Services Program and a student researcher. Her research includes: phage isolation, organic chemistry teaching methods, and how poverty can affect a student’s focus in the classroom. In addition to teaching Honors Biology courses and Biology labs, Ms. Mistretta will be serving as Assistant Campus Minister to Sister Denise. Ms. Mistretta will be assisting in the planning of Masses, Kairos, and grade-level retreats among other tasks.
