Summum Bonum Newsletter: SJHA Elementary School Welcomes Elizabeth Campbell as Assistant Principal

SJHA Elementary School Principal, Mr. Lawrence Hansen, is pleased to announce that Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell will be joining the St. Joseph Hill Academy community as Assistant Principal in the 2020-2021 school year. Mrs. Campbell will work closely with Mr. Hansen, Mrs. DelGeorge, Mr. Acanfora and our faculty, to continue the mission of providing an excellent Catholic education to our students.

Mrs. Campbell is a graduate of SJHA high school class of 1994 and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Language Pathology, a Master's of Science Degree in Special Education, both from St. John's University, and a Master's of Science Degree in School Building Leadership from Fordham University. Her first six years in the workforce were in the field of Special Education working as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped; an Educational Therapist; and a Special Education Itinerant Teacher. Mrs. Campbell began working for the Archdiocese of New York in the Catholic School Region of Staten Island in 2004. She has taught at St. Paul School, Academy of St. Dorothy, St. Adalbert School, and has been the principal of Holy Rosary School since 2018. Mrs. Campbell is a parishioner and lector at St. Charles Church and works as the assistant lighthouse keeper of the Staten Island Lighthouse (West Bank Rear Range Light).

Mr. Hansen has worked with Mrs. Campbell over the last two years as part of a principal's PLC and they have shared the honor of being a member of the esteemed Curran Principal's Academy. Mrs. Campbell's knowledge and expertise will no doubt be a wonderful asset to our school community.
