Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year, a year that will begin unlike any other school year ever has, but will hopefully end as other school years (with the exception of last year) have. God has placed this wonderful school, that I have been fortunate to be a part of for the last 31 years as a teacher and administrator, in my hands during these unprecedented times. Not one to ever shy away from a challenge, I am committed to ensuring that our students receive the excellent Catholic education that St. Joseph Hill Academy has provided for the last 100 years. In your time at Hill, as we navigate this global pandemic together, you will acquire the self-discipline and tools that will empower you to become confident independent thinkers with strong character and leadership qualities who stand ready to meet society’s challenges.

With the help of God and the Holy Spirit, along with our exceptional administration, faculty, and staff, we will continue to work together to maintain the high standards and expectations of St. Joseph Hill Academy in all areas; academic, spiritual, and social as we continue to educate the whole person.

Despite the fact that school will have a different look at the start of this year, it is an exciting time to be a Hilltopper. There are many added opportunities in stem, the humanities, and the arts offered to students as our course offerings and programs expand. This year will see the addition of our new performing arts studio, along with the addition of courses such as biomedical engineering, AP Physics, and college level psychology to name a few. I encourage you, our students in your time here, to reach beyond your comfort zone, to take new courses, join new clubs (even if they are initially meeting on Zoom), and to go out and serve our community (be it remotely or eventually in person). Together and with our faith, we will persevere.

Stay positive and keep smiling! Please know that I am always here for you.
