JV and Varsity Volleyball (Fall Season)

Hill's Volleyball Program has gone undefeated on Staten Island for many years and competed in a number of playoff games. Our JV program lays down a strong foundation from technique and volleyball skills to team bonding experiences. Our Varsity program expands on the skills learned on JV making our programs extremely competitive.

The Volleyball program has a successful and proud history. With coaches passionate about the game, the volleyball program is the perfect place for competitive, dedicated, and hardworking athletes who are committed to working together as a team.

Tryouts will be on August 19 and 20, 2024!

In Fall 2021, St. Joseph Hill captures first-ever CHSAA city crown!

Congratulations to our Varsity Volleyball Team who become City Champs for the first time in their history! Thanks to Mrs. Lisa Bifalco, our Athletic director and Mrs. Danielle DelBove our assistant Athletic Director for always being there, supporting and looking out for our athletes! Thanks coaches Sam, Sami, and Victoria for your devotion, dedication, and excellent coaching! A special Thank You to Mrs. Virginia Mayrose, our Dean of Students, who built Hill's volleyball program to what it is today. She did not just coach but she taught the girls how to play! Under Mrs. Mayrose, Hill's teams won 7 consecutive Island titles and the teams continue to thrive! To the team - you showed a determination and perseverance that made the entire Hill Community so proud of you! You are a team and you are resilient! You are "The Champions"!!
