About Mr. DeLisa

Mr. John De Lisa, the recipient of a full scholarship, graduated from Stony Brook University with a magna cum laude degree in English.  The prestigious Johannes Quasten Scholarship allowed Mr. De Lisa to earn his masters degree in theology at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D. C.  Advancing his post-graduate work, Mr. De Lisa has studied French in both Quebec and Paris.  Among his other accomplishments, he is a two-time Fulbright scholar and a fellow of the Dar Al Islam Institute, the Korean Studies Seminar, and the Japanese Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program.  Mr. De Lisa is also a former adjunct professor of theology at St. John’s University and currently an adjunct professor of French at the College of Staten Island.  Most recently, Mr. De Lisa has created a course of classical studies which is unique to St. Joseph Hill Academy.
