About Ms. D'Ermilio
Donna D’Ermilio has been a member of the Hill faculty for over forty years and presently teaches English Literature I and Theater Arts. She holds degrees in Music from Wagner College and New York University and has previously taught Music Appreciation, Communications Arts and Creative Writing, in addition to two college level courses, Introduction to Opera and History of the American Musical Theater. She has also taught in the Theater Department at Wagner College and is a member of Wagner’s Alumni Board of Directors.
Ms. D’Ermilio is the director and music director of the annual Drama Club productions and conducts the St. Joseph Hill Singers. As an active professional musician and vocal coach, Ms. D’Ermilio has worked in regional theater and summer stock as a pianist and music director . She has performed with the Harbor Lights Theater Company, Wagner College Theater, Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre, Staten Island Civic Theater, Staten Island Ballet and the Staten Island Symphony. Honors and awards include the 2015 Minty Award for Educator of the Year, the 2009 Woman of Distinction Award (Business and Professional Women’s Association) and St. Joseph Hill Academy’s 2006 Distinguished Graduate Award. Ms. D’Ermilio is married to actor Wayne Miller.
