Hill's Angels Give Back for Thanksgiving and a Note of Thanks from Mrs. Molluzzo

In the spirit of thanks and of giving, Hill answers the call to help those in need, as we have done for decades. This Thanksgiving time, we are sharing our bounty in a number of ways:
  • Students collected over 600 items of new men's gloves, hats, and socks for Project Hospitality to distribute to the homeless and hungry. Their work was featured in Project Hospitality's annual Poor People's Dinner on 11/22. A clip of them delivering this collection and narrated by Bishop O'Hara is featured in the video here: https://projecthospitality.org/poor-peoples-dinner/
  • Homerooms raised funds to purchase supermarket gift cards for Fr. Paredes SJ, that were distributed to needy Mount Carmel+St. Benedicta+Assumption parishoners in lieu of ingredients for Thanksgiving food baskets.
  • Hill's Caring Cards Club created 1,400 Thanksgiving Caring Cards for seniors living in Eger Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Carmel Richmond Nursing Home, Clove Lakes Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Meals on Wheels, and the St. Joseph Hill Convent.
Hill's Angels are grateful for our community and their ability to live our mission to Make God's Love Visible to Others.

A Note of Thanks from Mrs. Molluzzo

There is much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. We, the administration, faculty, and staff of St. Joseph Hill Academy High School are so thankful to have all students  back at school together. It has been a blessing watching them participate in athletics, clubs, and school events. The girls are more appreciative and motivated than ever.

Wishing you the gift of faith and the blessing of hope this Thanksgiving Day!
