The seminar is based on the FDIC’s Money Smart financial education program The goal is to introduce the seniors to the pillars of Financial Literacy: Earning, Saving, Spending, Investing, Borrowing and Protecting. This is the first year the school is offering it but we will expand it next year to cover each of the topics in greater detail.
