Advancing the Mission of St. Joseph Hill Academy

Thank you for your interest in supporting St. Joseph Hill Academy. The Advancement and Alumni Office supports, encourages, and promotes the academic mission and vision of St. Joseph Hill Academy.  Under the guidance and direction of the Daughters of Divine Charity, the school Principals and Administration, and the St. Joseph Hill Academy Board of Trustees, the Advancement and Alumni Office works with individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government entities to raise funds to support the needs of students, faculty and scholastic activities. The Advancement and Alumni office coordinates all fundraising for the Academy by fostering relationships with alumni, parents, faculty and staff, school retirees, foundations, corporations, and other external constituents.

Alumni Relations provides leadership, services and benefits to alumni from the Elementary School and the High School. Its mission is to keep the alumni well informed about the Academy and engage them in activities geared toward supporting the school community by raising funds that will directly benefit our students. The Alumni Relations office also coordinates several annual activities such as Alumni Receptions, Class Reunions, Donor Gatherings and other alumni events that help raise funds in support of St. Joseph Hill Academy.

With the support of our donors, St. Joseph Hill Academy has been able to accomplish a number of important improvements over the span of the past years, including:

• design of a new library/learning commons in the High School and the Elementary School,
• implementation of a state-of-the-art network refresh project,
• installation of critically needed sunshades in our early childhood playground,
• renovation of the High School chapel,
• development of a state-of-the-art Collaborative Learning Technology Center,
• enhancement of our STEAM program, including the purchase of the Anatomage table,
• establishment of new scholarships (Costa Family Scholarship Fund, Jeanine R. Khoury Scholarship, Mary Alice Lucey O'Malley Scholarship Fund, Sister M. William McGovern, FDC Scholarship Fund,, Sister M. Charlotte William Scholarship Fund, FDC, and an emergency fund to provide financial support to families that experience unanticipated hardships,
• strengthening of our athletics program and
• the renovation and reimagining of the Gerardi Athletic Field Complex.

Each year brings new accomplishments, however with this growth and development comes new challenges …  critically needed campus renovations, facility upgrades, essential campus repairs, renovations, and general campus restoration.  Together we are building a vibrant, forward-looking campus that aligns with our academic and institutional priorities.  We need your support to make these campus upgrades possible.
