As a first-generation college student, Sofia’s achievement is a beautiful reflection of her character, academic excellence, and determination.
For the past four years, she has been the recipient of the Jeanine R. Khoury Scholarship, one of our SJHA Benefactor Scholarships. This generous support enabled Sofia to thrive at Hill and has been instrumental in her journey to Princeton.
“I am incredibly proud of and for Sofia!” said Ms. Jeanine R. Khoury, SJHA Board Member and Class of 1978 alumna. “This scholarship will give her the wings to fly high and reflects her hard work, determination and dedication to excellence throughout her SJHA journey. Congratulations on being accepted into the Princeton University family!”
We want to acknowledge the exceptional guidance of our College Counseling Office, Mrs. Kerry Sullivan, Mrs. Michelle Figuly, and Ms. Olivia Tigri, whose dedication has been instrumental in Sofia’s college journey. Additionally, Principal Dr. Kris Sherwood has been a steadfast champion of Sofia’s achievements.
Sofia’s acceptance to Princeton exemplifies the power of educational opportunity, community support, and the limitless potential of our Hill family. We cannot wait to see all that she will accomplish in her future. Congratulations, Sofia!
If you applied to the Hill Class of 2030, we encourage you to apply for a Benefactor Scholarship by December 16th, 2025. Sofia's achievement is reflective of what happens when a Hill education is paired with the support families need. Our Benefactor Scholarships exist to make that transformation possible for students like your child.
