Students were challenged to create outfits made entirely out of recycled materials. Not only were the ensembles designed with reused items, but the entire gym was decorated with painted flowers made from water bottles and the runway designed with magazine and newspaper chains.
The winners foreshadowed an upcoming summer event: the wedding of faculty member, Ms. Coscia. Designed from trash bags, newspaper, doilies, and used tablecloth, seniors Caitlin Crowley (flower girl), Maria McFeeley (Maid of Honor), Alexa Freglette (Groom), and Francesca Reres (bride) took home First Place.
