Anika shares her impressive summer experience working with the Sonia and Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program, a selective and prestigious opportunity for high school students around New York City to learn more about the legal field through placement with judges throughout the five boroughs and participation in educational workshops. She was honored to be assigned as an intern with Judge James D'Auguste of the New York County Supreme Civil Court. Read more about her experience here.

Polar Plungers, you are amazing! Hilltoppers participating in the 2022 Staten Island Polar Plunge yesterday raised over $12,000 (and they are still counting) in support of the Special Olympics.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, St. Joseph Hill Academy always answers the call to make God’s love visible to all. This Thanksgiving season, our school has done so in numerous ways. Hill is very proud of Alice Adamo '23 who earned the Silver and Bronze Congressional Award Medals. The Congressional Award recognizes initiative, service, and achievement in America’s youth.

St. Joseph Hill Academy High School students led by Service Director and Campus Minister Sister Liceria were part of a group of high school students from across the borough that volunteered and helped prepare meal bags and boxes at the Stapleton Project Hospitality food pantry ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Congratulations to Amelia Atassi for receiving the TopSoccer Buddy of the Year Award from Eastern New York Soccer Association earlier this month. This award was established in 2009 and is awarded for extraordinary accomplishments as a TOPSoccer Buddy.

St. Joseph Hill Academy is pleased to announce that Anika Thakkar '23 has been named a National Merit Semifinalist and Charlotte Curlin '23 and Kristen Norberg '23 have been named National Merit Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
