St. Joseph Hill Academy High School, in partnership with Staten Island University Hospital/Northwell Health, is proud to announce HELM, Hill's Educational Leadership in Medicine Institute, which began this Fall. Seeking to be at the helm of healthcare education, preparation and partnership, this Career Institute for Women in Healthcare will provide an opportunity for SJHA students 16 years and older to explore the world of healthcare in real time by becoming immersed in the day-to-day activities of healthcare professionals.

The Hill High School Class of 2021 was 141 in size, the largest in school’s history. Their accomplishments are numerous, including amassing $59.2 million in academic scholarships and receiving 213 unique college and university acceptances. We recognized the 2021 Valedictorian, Thea Akhrass, and Salutatorian, Michelle Chen. The Alumna Commencement Address was delivered by Ms. Jeanine R. Khoury, '78. The latest edition of Hill's student newspaper, The Summit, is out today. It features stories on the Hill Swim Team, Women Who Inspire, our Covid-19 Vaccine Pop Up, Interviews with Mrs. Molluzzo, Mrs. Mayrose, and our School Counselors, plus recaps on Hill's fun-filled Spring events.

Hill students, aka Hill's "Sandwich Angels", will receive the Sophie Matthew's Memorial Award at the Project Hospitality Soup for the Soul Virtual Event on May 27, 2021.
