St. Joseph Hill Academy High School, a college-preparatory Catholic school for young women, is seeking a full-time Spanish teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced educator who is passionate about world language instruction and committed to forming young women in both academic excellence and faith. St. Joseph Hill Academy is a vibrant, mission-driven community rooted in faith, academic rigor, and the empowerment of young women.
The successful candidate will teach multiple levels of Spanish, ranging from introductory through advanced coursework, and will foster a dynamic, student-centered classroom environment that promotes language proficiency, cultural understanding, and confidence in communication.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Teach a full course load across various levels of Spanish
Develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
Promote proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
Integrate cultural components to deepen global awareness
Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in the life of the school community
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Prior teaching experience at the high school level required
Strong command of Spanish language and grammar across all levels
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
Preferred Attributes
Ability to teach advanced or honors-level courses
Experience with differentiated instruction and student-centered pedagogy
Enthusiasm for engaging students beyond the classroom through clubs, cultural activities, or immersion experiences
