Spanish Teacher

The ideal candidate for this position is a dynamic, student-centered educator with a strong command of the Spanish language and a passion for fostering cultural understanding. They should be able to confidently teach Spanish Levels 1–3, designing engaging lessons that support language acquisition, communication skills, and authentic cultural learning.

Candidates with several years of experience teaching Spanish are strongly preferred. A master’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field is desirable but not required. New York State teaching certification in secondary education is preferred but not mandatory for consideration.

The ideal teacher demonstrates strong classroom management, differentiated instructional practices, and a commitment to collaboration within the World Languages department. They bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a dedication to supporting students’ growth as global learners, contributing positively to the school community.

Salary for this position for Spring Semester is $27,000-$35,000 commensurate with experience. This position could be a full year commitment for the 26-27 school year for the right candidate.
