Dear Friends in Christ,
Our Lenten Journey, as Pilgrims of Hope in this Jubilee year of 2025 is coming to an end with the triumphant entry of Jesus on Palm Sunday followed by the Sacred Triduum, of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday, in which we relive the suffering, passion, crucifixion, and death of Jesus awaiting the glorious promise of His resurrection on Easter Sunday. On Ash Wednesday, we began our journey with Jesus. A time for spiritual growth, personal prayer, fasting, almsgiving and a deepening of our relationship with the Lord. I pray that as you recall these sacred days of Holy Week your hearts will be touched and be drawn closer to Jesus so that the joys of Easter will indeed be grace filled and special for you and your loved ones.
On behalf of the Daughters of Divine Charity, St. Joseph Hill Academy Board of Trustees, the Administration, Faculty, and Staff I take this opportunity to wish you and your extended families a very blessed and joyous Easter. Know that you are in our daily prayers entrusting all your cares to our Blessed Mother who experienced the agony and suffering of her beloved Son because of His great LOVE for each of us, in doing the will of His Heavenly Father. My sincerest gratitude to all for your prayers, love, support, and generosity throughout the year. We pause to take a few moments in silent prayer to remember all our faithful departed Sisters, family members, friends, alumnae and benefactors that they may rest in eternal peace. May the risen Lord Jesus and the promise of the Holy Spirit continue to guide, protect and be with each of you and your families this Easter and always.
Alleluia! “For the Lord is truly Risen as He has said.” Alleluia!
Happy Easter!
With Love, Prayers, and Gratitude,
Sister Mary Coffelt, F.D.C. and The Daughters of Divine Charity
