Hill Dumps Disposable Water Bottles

Last year, Americans used approximately 50 billion plastic water bottles.  With a national recycling rate of only about 23 percent, the majority of our bottles ended up in landfills.

St. Joseph Hill does not want to be part of this statistic.  In an effort to reduce waste, Hill has installed water bottle refilling stations throughout the high school.  The hope is that students will avoid purchasing disposable plastic water bottles, and instead opt for Hill's reusable solution.

Hill's reusable water bottles will be available for purchase in our new school store beginning in September.  We encourage our students and families to support our effort to reduce waste in our community.
