Competing in the Student Congress category at the Fordham University competition on November 4th, both students distinguished themselves with their poise and articulate delivery.
Stella, a second year member of St. Joseph Hill's Forensics Team, managed to take second place, while Devyn, a third year member of Hill's forensics team finished in a close third place.
The girls, under the direction of coach Aileen Smith, have been working tirelessly to sharpen their skills and increase their competitive edge by keeping up to date on world affairs, reviewing new materials, and practicing in front of an audience of their peers.
The forensics club, which has experienced a revitalization under its new direction, is sure to produce continued outstanding results and Stella and Devyn are certainly two to watch out for.
