Congratulations to Paige Jerrahian '23 for winning the prestigious John Tobin Wingate Scholarship award at the Staten Island HS Track and Field Association Cross Country Awards Dinner last week. The $2,000 first-place awards were presented by S.I. Elite Track co-founders Denise Boccia and Bill Allert.

The Minty Awards announced on 12/6/22 that Hill Alumna Cathryn Basile Traphagen '00 will receive their 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award at the March 9, 2023 Gala. Read more here!

Polar Plungers, you are amazing! Hilltoppers participating in the 2022 Staten Island Polar Plunge yesterday raised over $12,000 (and they are still counting) in support of the Special Olympics.

St. Joseph Hill Academy held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to formally introduce the newly transformed Sr. Ernestine Jeck, FDC High School Library and Learning Commons to the campaign's benefactors. The Library and Learning Commons has become a bustling hub for learning that fosters community and collaboration, versatility, and comfort. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, St. Joseph Hill Academy always answers the call to make God’s love visible to all. This Thanksgiving season, our school has done so in numerous ways. Hill is very proud of Alice Adamo '23 who earned the Silver and Bronze Congressional Award Medals. The Congressional Award recognizes initiative, service, and achievement in America’s youth.

On the evening of 11/18, we celebrated the legacy of St. Joseph Hill Academy Alumni Athletes with an inspiring and fun-filled reunion set amongst the banners, trophies, and photos that detail Hill's amazing athletic achievements throughout the decades.

This week Ms. Donna Chan '98 spoke with Hill's Cybersecurity class taught by Mrs. Sandra Nevins, the Project Lead the Way / STEM Pathway Coordinator at Hill. Ms. Chan (CISA, CRISC, CFE, CICA, CAMS) is the Head of Cybersecurity and Info Security Audit at MUFG Bank (the largest bank in Japan). Read more here.
