Congrats to SJHA Varsity Volleyball - City Champs!
Congratulations to our Varsity Volleyball Team on defeating Holy Cross on Saturday to become City Champs for the first time in their history! Thanks to Mrs. Lisa Bifalco, our Athletic director and Mrs. Danielle DelBove our assistant Athletic Director for always being there, supporting and looking out for our athletes! Thanks coaches Sam, Sami, and Victoria for your devotion, dedication, and excellent coaching! A special Thank You to Mrs. Virginia Mayrose, our Dean of Students, who built Hill's volleyball program to what it is today. She did not just coach but she taught the girls how to play! Under Mrs. Mayrose, Hill's teams won 7 consecutive Island titles and the teams continue to thrive! To the team - you showed a determination and perseverance that made the entire Hill Community so proud of you! You are a team and you are resilient! You are "The Champions"!!
